Alviral is a registered virucide with an efficacy of 0.5 %
after 30 minutes of surface contact (based on the
standard NFT 72-180).

Due to its unique composition,
Alviral is able to regenerate its primary active ingredient:
chlorine. Once the chlorine is in the solution, it is trapped and
released only in the presence of bacteria. This cycle continues
in a chain reaction. This mode of action allows for residual
activity in a prepared solution, which is able to remain stable
throughout a seven day period.
Alviral is a registered
bactericide with an efficacy of 1.5 % after 5 minutes of surface
contact. After 30 minutes of surface contact, Alviral is efficient
up to 1 % (based on the standard NFT 72-300)*.

It is recommended to use a spray
solution of 1 % and leave it on the surface for 30 minutes.
Based on the standard NFT 72-300,
which allows 30 minutes of surface contact, Alviral was efficient
at 4 degrees Celcius on four registered bacteria.
Alviral has a very low toxicity on
mammals and aquatic organisms and it is biodegradable thereby
respecting the environment.
