The importance of a good start
stimulates the piglet's immune defences.
Some breeding situations require a
very early weaning, sometimes from the age of 7 or 8 days.
Lactarine has been specially formulated to meet
all the nutritional requirements of these young early-weaned
piglets. Lactarine is used as the only feed and is
fed ad lib while taking care of increasing the number of meals
(from 6 to 10 meals a day). Lactarine can be given
as a lukewarm mash during the first days after weaning.
The piglet shall have access at all
time to a clean top-quality water supply. Environmental conditions
suited to the age and weight of the piglet determine the weaning
success.
Lactarine is also
an excellent feed to complete the lactation. This will stimulate
the feed intake when the piglet is still with the sow in order to
develop the piglet’s enzymatic system.
The natural plant extracts contained
in this feed act at the intestines and stimulates by this the
global immunity of the piglet in order to keep it at a high level
of vigilance.
