MIS-SOUF100

NEW FASTENER THAT ATTACHES DIRECTLY TO THE SOW'S CAGE

1 to 2.5 piglets per sow per year die by crushing. Save more than 50% of them by using THE ANTI-CRUSH SYSTEM.

The anti-crusher is equipped with an infrared sensor that detects when the sow sits or stands up (day or night). The system creates a non-comfort zone, by blowing a gentle air stream full range under the sow. Piglets will want to avoid it and will move by themselves to the comfort zone by themselves (towards the heat pad or heat lamp); away from the crushing area.

One anti-crusher is needed per 20 sows on the first week after farrowing.

Made in Canada for S.E.C. Repro. inc. by Prodexpert (patent pending).

Install the ANTI-CRUSHER (BODYGUARD) in the middle of the farrowing cage in the comfort zone side, at 9 from flooring the day before farrowing until the 5th day after farrow. Then, move it to the next location by using the ANTI-CRUSHER CART. Results show less than half the crushing rate then without ANTI-CRUSHER.

It takes 10 seconds to take off and 10 seconds to reinstall.

80 % OF YOUR CRUSHED PIGLETS HAPPEN IN THE FIRST 6 DAYS

Avoid this situation !

calculate loss by crushing

1 to 2.5 piglets/sow/year = 40 to $ 100/sow/year
Recuperate 50 to 75% crushing
$ 40/sow/year

Then by Day 5-6, 80% of the piglets will have been crushed. We suggest installing the anti-crusher the evening before the farrowing until Day 5-6 then you can move it to the next group. You will need the same number of machines for the same number of farrowing per week. The results demonstrate 50-70% decrease in crushing. It works 24 hours a day.
